Celestial Earth Clock

This Widget shows the position of the Sun and the Moon on a changing Earth backdrop. The Earth images from NASA change every month showing snowy areas as the winter approaches the Northern Hemisphere. The Sun position is calculated from the time of year and the Moon position has been carefully calculated and should be within a degree of its actual position. If people are interested, I may add the ISS location in a future version.

World Viewer

This Widget is a more generic camera viewer. The Widget is shipped with camera files from around the world. When you first run the Widget it will ask you where you want to store the camera files. Once chosen it will copy the camera files shipped. To view cameras from another location, right-click (control-click on a Mac if you don't have a two button mouse) on the Widget and select "Change Location". Functionality includes a favorites list, favorites filtering, camera cycling, colored themes, a user defined color theme, camera "thumbnail" view, control bar hiding, and more.

It also allows you to convert other traffic cams that are based on C. Scott Gilbert's cam Widget. See the README.txt file for details.

I will be happy if you can tell me more webcams on High Energy Physics or Nuclear Physics experiments like accelerators and detectors.

In the v0.2 update I include another experiment, PHENIX, at Brookhaven National Laboratory.

Who is getting married

View weddings around the world.

Please note that there will not be a wedding going on all the time. Good time to see a wedding in the UK seems to be Friday or Saturday. But ocassionally there will be weddings on other days, also. In Germany usually the weddings will be held on Thursday mornings, with exceptions. But in Germany there are not a lot of weddings. In Las Vegas or on board of the ships there are no regular time to watch a wedding. They just happen. All times are local times.

If there is a black picture or just a standby picture, there is either no wedding going on at the time or the couple did not want the wedding to be seen online. The camera will be back soon then.

Some cameras are 24 hour live cameras and you can see other things happen sometimes.

Links to www.visualparadox.com and displays a random picture from his galleries. In a picture frame-like Widget. Shows abreviated name of the picture. Click on the frame to change the picture. Click on the picture to go to the webpage containing that picture. The preferences allow you to change the Widget's size. Due to a problem, only 5 sizes are available. Floating bar with Visual Paradox logo, which hotlinks to the homepage, can be moved around by pressing the crtl key (command key on Mac) to move it.

Now, if enabled, picture will go to largest size when mouse is over them and go back to size when mouse leaves. Now an automatic timer can be set to allow the picture to change every so often (min is abut 7 minutes). Frame can now be colorized!

Note: I have the permission of the origonal author of ths beautiful artwork (for now). Misuse of his artwork [see www.visualparadox.com/copyright.htm] may cause removal of this Widget.
